Just Another Political Joke...

The President calls for line-item veto bill, so that he can rain in spending. The last time I looked his party has control of the House of Representatives the United States Congress.

The House of Representative with there wisdom passed the line item veto 247-172, President Bush, must make reference that 43 Governors has this power. We once had some checks and balances, they seem to be eroding away.

Why do we have congress and the courts?

Demagoguery in the name of patriotism.

The House of Representative has voted for Amendment to the Constitution of the United States authorizing Congress to prohibit the physical desecration of the flag of the United States. What is ironic is the sponsor in the House was Rep. Randy (Duke) Cunningham now serving prison time for corruption. Rep.Doc Hasting voted for the Amendment.

The Senate is preparing to vote soon on this Amendment. It appears that it might just pass. They find that a symbol is in dire danger. One must ask when you have seen the American flag burned recently. Not likely.

The politicians are engaged in demagoguery in the name of patriotism. This will be the first time in our history, that we take rights away from its citizens.

We must also remember, these same Representatives failed to enforce immigration laws, failed to prevent September 11 2001, increased our national debt over 8 TRILLON DOLLARS, sent our men and women to Iraq, and has failed to protect our boarders and ports. The list could go on.....Oh yes, not the time to hold any one to blame. When will, We the People hold them accountable for there failures and votes?

Wayne LaPierre, Executive Vice President of National Rifle Association of American

June 21, 2006

Wayne LaPierre, Executive Vice President of National Rifle Association of American has shown his willingness to use its members. This incitement is all for the selling of his book (The Global War on Your Guns).

On the site Stop the U.N. Gun Ban LaPierre is misleading the millions of hard working members to provoke them to write letter to United Nation that if anything, respects the right of American citizens and during our July 4, Independent day will hold no meeting ban our right to bear arms.

To quote Mr. LaPierre “This 4th of July, while you and your family celebrate the 230th Anniversary of the founding of our great nation, there’s one party you won’t be invited to......And that’s the party that Kofi Annan is throwing at United Nations headquarters in New York — using your tax dollars — for nearly fifty dictatorships, six terrorist states, governments that endorse execution based on religious faith, and a multitude of other nations from around the globe.”

It appears that Non Confirmed John Bolton, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations office implied that this was happening, if the reporting is correct with Rutgers/msnbc when it will bring forward there concerns, when the claim doesn’t warrant the members action.

I am not a member of NRA, they do so many good things for America, Mr. LaPierre stunt brings down all the good things of the NRA. Yet, as American Veteran. I believe all Americans have the inherent right to bear arms.

Maybe, Mr. LaPierre can set-up Web Page for Senate not to take the rights of its members as to the FLAG. Just a thought here.

Senate Moral Priorities

June 20, 2006

On the floor of the Senate this morning, it was Senator Dorgan (D-ND) brought forward Amendment SA-4230 to the S. 2766, to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2007 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe personnel strengths for such fiscal year for the Armed Forces, and for other purposes; as follows:
At the end of division A, add the following: TITLE XV--ELIMINATION OF FRAUD IN GOVERNMENT CONTRACTING.
The Senate for the 3rd times has voted this down, Lates vote 52-48 while billions of dollars of the tax payer’s money is continuing to be wasted.

It appears that, Senate is more concerned about what they call immoral talk on the airway and increase those fine 100%, yet unable to increase Fines and Jail time to those that will profit off the death of the men and women that we sent to war in Iraq.

Members Vote will follow: VOTE U.S. Senate Roll Call Votes 109th Congress - 2nd Session, Vote Number: 176 Vote Date: June 20, 2006, 11:18 AM.

Iraq War Resolution H.R. 861

The Republicans once again bring forward a resolution to the people house and can only tell the American people to stay the course, with no plan to bring the men and women home. They have once again showed me that they remain out of touch with reality.

I continue to here we can fight the terrorist here or over there.

The war on terror was Afghanistan as result of September 11, 2001 and not Iraq.

The men and women that died on September 11, 2001 was the result of the Republicans congress failure to provide the funds to enforce are immigration laws.

Now the Republicans have brought forward there immigration bill for the mid-term election that gives themselves amnesty and corporation for there failure to protect American.

It’s a little late for the 3,000 deaths on September 11, 2001 and 2,500 men and women of armed services in Iraq and 19,000 injured.
